I am Full Professor at the Institute of Computing, Fluminense Federal University (UFF).
My current research interest are in High-Performance Computing, Clouds, and Parallel and Distributed Computing.
I am a CNPq Level 1 Researcher, at a Brazilian research agency, and Cientista do Estado Rio de Janeiro (FAPERJ).
I have more than 100 publications in conferences and journals, and have advised several master’s and Ph.D. works, some of them in cotutelle at Sorbonne and Avignon Universities.
I was the coordinator of Stricto Sensu Pos-Graduate Programs at Fluminense Federal University from 2019 to 2022.
I have been on several program committees, such as HPDC, ICS, IEEE CLUSTER , CCGRID , Europar, IPDPS and Supercomputing. I was the Program Chair at SBAC 2016 and 2020 conferences.
I was the coordinator of the Special Commission on Computer Architecture and High-Performance Processing of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC), from 2019 to 2023, and I am in the Management Committee of this commission currently.
I am an associate editor of FGCS journal.
